Get used to global cooling, he says

For the last several years, liberals seem to have stolen a page from National Socialist German Workers Party playbook of the 1930's.
This would be the strategy of, if you tell the same lie long enough and often enough, you will eventually get otherwise intelligent people to believe it.

Fortunately, there are plenty of Americans who are not quite as gullible as the Germans were under Hitler. This is why 31,000 scientists, 9,000 of whom have PhDs, have signed a petition urging the U.S. government to reject the global warming agreement known as Kyoto and any other similar proposal.

Why would all these scientists jump off the global warming bandwagon? One of the reasons is that the average global temperature has not risen at all in the last 10 years, as in zip, zero, nada. How many years in succession does this trend need to continue before the global warming Nazis get it? A similar question might be: how many lies does Al Gore need to tell before he can be called a liar?

Scientists have also given up on the global warming ideology because the focus has changed from scientific (because science doesn’t support the premise) to political and a means to create legislation like cap and trade policies. Cap and trade epitomizes the liberal thought process—it seeks to create legislation to spend money (your taxes) they don’t have to solve a problem that doesn’t exist.

The final reason why scientists no longer believe in global warming is because the most current research has discovered that over 99 percent of changes in temperature on earth are caused by solar activity, which has been waning for the past decade. So until there is an increase in solar activity, the Earth will continue cooling.
