US eases trade sanctions against Syria

White house spokesman Tommy Vietor declared that US President Barrack Obama’s administration plans to ease American Trade Sanction against Damascus.

US special envoy to the Middle East Gorge Mitchell told Syrian President Bashar Al Assad that the US will study as soon as possible requests to exempt Syria from US sanctions on export of information technology and telecommunication equipment as well as parts and components related to the safety of civil aviation .

What is missing in their discussions is Sryia's support for terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Hamas. Is the US just supposed to ignore Sryia's continued support for these thugs. I am all for talking to our enemies but I am not in favor of giving them everything they want and the US comes away with nothing. I'd call that being in bed with the terroists who murdered 240 Marines in Lebanon. This sucks.

What will Syria do to oust the Hezbollah and PIJ leaders from Damascus? What will Syria do to end Hezbollah's occupation of south Lebanon? What is Syria's response to the IAEA's discovery of more evidence of nuclear activity at the site bombed by Israel?

Substantive answers, please. We had Speaker Pelosi in Damascus two years ago and nothing followed.
