The administration of President Barack Obama apparently is trashing his oft-repeated campaign promise that middle income Americans with annual paychecks of $250,000 or less would see no tax increases under his administration.

I won't even blame Obama for that,The financial conditions of the america is no better, Its reeling under the biggest economic downturn and the country's deficit is increasing day by day ,I would rather blame bush for his foreign policy and war on Iraq,which has led america into this sort of disaster,America can't withdraw from war in Iraq,If it does It will setback to security of america and it's fellow country men.

If anyone has to be blame it has to be bush not Obama.

I agree with lisa, Just blaming obama isn't the wise thing to do, A lot has been done by the bush administration to make the situation worse in america. It's beacuase of bush adminsitration that the obama's admintstartion has to take up uphill task of getting america back to it's glory.

TO revive the econonmy if he has to take some tough decision, we shouldn't just blatantly blame him rather try to look from his perspective

taxing the middle class has always been a part of the plan, and was done long before this. the 2600% tax increase on loose tobacco, along the increase on regular smokes was one of the first volleys against the middle/lower classes by the beloved leader. besides these actions are not about generating revenue, it's about exerting control. having the FDA control tobacco is just one step away from taking over other things that can be taxed, regulated, and controlled, for your own good of course. never believe that beloved leader only has the best interest of the people at heart. the usurpation of the republic is the goal. it's been going on for decades, under the guise of the "great nation", medicare, medicade, social security, welfare. all these things keep people asleep and dependent on the machine for their needs.
