In a highly symbolic moment at the G8 summit in Italy today, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev unveiled to reporters a coin representing a “united future world currency”.

I am not surprised by the move, If the U.S economy doesn't recover soon from the crisis it won't be only russian president talking about replacing the dollar but many other leader would follows his foot step.

I do agree with abhay, I think the american's should display sense of urgency in tackling the current crisis. They need to create the lost jobs and only stimulus package won't do that. It's apparent that world leader won't wait for long.
